Dr. Shihao Yan received the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2015. He received the B.S. in Communication Engineering and the M.S. in Communication and Information Systems from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He was a visiting Ph.D student at The University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia, in 2014. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Research School of Engineering, The Australia National University, Canberra, Australia. His current research interests are in the areas of wireless communications and statistical signal processing, including physical layer security, location verification, and localization algorithms.
