Samiya Shimly received her BSc in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from Military Institute of Science & Technology (MIST), Bangladesh. She is currently working towards her PhD  at The Australian National University (ANU), in the field of wireless body area networks (WBANs/BANs). She is also with Data61, CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation). Her current research overview is to apply predictive decision-making and optimization on the body-centric communications (e.g., body-to-body) to build intelligent autonomous human-centered networks.
