Research
Dr Stokes-Griffin’s research focuses on hybrid structures, and the automated placement of thermoplastic composite materials onto metallic components. Biography
Dr Stokes-Griffin has held positions as a research fellow at ANU since 2014. Prior to this, he completed his PhD in Manufacturing Engineering, with a thesis entitled “A Combined Optical-Thermal Model for Laser-Assisted Fibre Placement of Thermoplastic Composite Materials”. Dr Stokes-Griffin also completed a BEng (Materials & Manufacturing Engineering) at ANU. He worked as a Design Engineer at Dyesol Australia Ltd from 2009-2013.
